Men attacked with bats in Sydney break-in
AAP
Two men have been bashed with bars and shovels in a home invasion in Sydney's southwest.
Police have been told up to five men in dark clothes broke into the Casula home on Tuesday night and attacked a 22-year-old man and an 18-year-old man with bars.
They then forced the men into the backyard and assaulted them with shovels. A woman and child who were also home were unharmed.

The group stole property and cash in what police believe may have been a targeted invasion.
The injured men were taken to hospital in a stable condition, the teenager with suspected arm and rib fractures.
