Medich jury continues deliberations
A Sydney jury is expected to continue its deliberations for a fourth day in the murder trial of millionaire property developer Ron Medich.
The 68-year-old has pleaded not guilty to murdering his former business partner Michael McGurk, who was gunned down outside his Sydney home on September 3, 2009.
He has also denied intimidating his widow, Kimberley McGurk, on August 8, 2010.
The star Crown witness, Medich's former friend, Lucky Gattellari, testified that the developer had financed and directed him to organise the hit.
But the defence contended Gattellari was a "wicked man" prepared to lie to anyone about anything to gain an advantage.
The NSW Supreme Court jury retired on Friday afternoon and is expected to resume its deliberations on Thursday.
