Masseur charged over child sexual assault

A masseur has been charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a boy during a sports massage in Griffith in south-western NSW at the weekend.

The 30-year-old Taiwanese National was arrested by detectives from the State Crime Commands Child Abuse Squad on Saturday shortly after an 11-year-old boy reported the incident to his mother following his appointment.

The man has been refused bail after being charged with two counts of having sexual intercourse with a child between 10 and 14 years, and aggravated indecent assault of a child under 16, and will reappear at Griffith Local Court on Wednesday.
