Manhunt underway for NSW jail escapee

A manhunt is underway for a prisoner who escaped from a northern NSW prison.
Clayton James Sewell, 44, was last seen at the Glen Innes Correctional Centre before 1pm on Sunday.

Sewell was wearing prison greens and is about 180cm tall, with a medium build, short brown hair and hazel eyes, police say.
Police warn people not to approach him but to call triple-zero immediately.
