Man wanted for questioning over NSW fire

Police are looking for a man who was seen near the scene of a bushfire at Wamboin on the NSW/ACT border.

The blaze started near Norton just after midday on Tuesday and at one point threatened several properties in the area.

It burnt through at least five hectares before firefighters managed to bring the fire under control.

Police say they would now like to speak to a man who may be able to help them with their investigation into how the blaze started.

He was last seen riding a yellow road bike on Ellendon Street, wearing black clothing and a white helmet.
