Man stabbed in Sydney's west

A man has suffered multiple stab wounds to his chest and abdomen during a brawl in Sydney's west.
The 25-year-old man has undergone emergency surgery in Westmead Hospital following a fight at a unit block in Doonside on Wednesday night.
A 38-year-old woman was taken to Bankstown Hospital after receiving minor cuts to her face, but no one else was injured during the incident, police said.

The man's injuries are not considered life threatening and police have established a crime scene and appealed for witnesses.
