A man is in hospital after being repeatedly stabbed in a road rage attack in southwest Sydney.

The 25-year-old man was involved in a scuffle with two men who approached the Jeep he was a passenger in, police say.

The fight broke out at the intersection of Canterbury Rd and Chapel St at Belmore on Tuesday night.
