Man stabbed in stomach in Sydney

A man is in a critical condition after being stabbed in the stomach in Sydney's southwest.

The attack happened in a residential street in Claymore on Friday afternoon and the man was taken to Liverpool Hospital, police say.

Another man was hospitalised and is under police guard with a laceration to his face, and a woman is assisting police with their inquiries.
