Man 'sped while drink-driving with 5 kids'

A man has been charged after he was allegedly caught speeding while driving under the influence with a woman and five children in the car in Sydney's south.
The alleged incident occurred about 6.30pm on Friday when Highway Patrol detected a Ford Territory travelling at 97km/h in a 60km/h speed zone.
Police stopped and breath-tested the 43-year-old male driver, who returned an alleged breath analysis of 0.150.

He was given a court attendance notice for high range drink-driving and speeding.
The man will face Waverley Court on February 1.
All children in the car were under 16 and Family and Community Services have been notified, police said.
