Man shot in leg in Sydney's west

A man has been shot in the leg while standing in the driveway of his home in Sydney's west.

Police say the 49-year-old was shot at about 8.30pm on Monday at St Clair.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A crime scene has been established at the home.
