Man shot in leg in Sydney's southwest

A man has been shot in the leg in what police believe is a targeted attack in Sydney's southwest.

The 36-year-old was found with a gunshot wound at a property in Riverwood after emergency services were called about 6.40pm on Saturday. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Police set up a crime scene and forensics officers are searching for evidence.
