Man shot at in Sydney's west

A 50-year-old man has escaped unhurt after being shot at in his yard in Sydney's west.

Police said the shooting happened in Kemps Creek on Tuesday afternoon, when another man parked in the home's driveway and fired a number of shots.

It is believed the men know each other.

Police officers have since carried out a search at a Whalan home.
