Man's ear cut in Sydney pub glassing

A man has a badly cut ear after an alleged glassing at a pub in the inner Sydney suburb of Surry Hills.
Police say two men, aged 42 and 50, got into an argument at the Devonshire Street pub at about 5pm on Wednesday and the younger man punched the older man while holding a glass, seriously cutting his left ear.
Police were alerted and arrested a 42-year-old man at an address in Redfern.

He's been charged with recklessly inflict grievous bodily harm and was granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on September 3.
