Man's body found in northern NSW

A man's body has been found at South Murwillumbah on the NSW far north coast.

Police say it's unclear whether the 45-year-old man's death is flood-related.

His body was found at a caravan park on Tweed Valley Way on Saturday.

Emergency workers were called to the scene just after 1.30pm.

A post-mortem examination is expected next week.

Two women have died in NSW after being caught up in fast moving floodwaters.

A 36-year-old woman perished at a rural property at Upper Burringbar and a 64-year-old woman was killed in a car that was swept of a causeway at Gungal in the Hunter region.

Both women's bodies were found on Friday.
