Man accused of Sydney stabbing murder

A man has been charged with murdering a western Sydney woman in a domestic-related stabbing.
Mu Rong Hong, 62, is accused of murdering the 52-year-old woman at a home in Berala on Monday.
Police arrived at the address just before 10am to find the woman with multiple stab wounds. She was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Hong's case came before Burwood Local Court on Tuesday, when bail was not applied for and it was formally refused.
The matter returns to court on January 15.
