Man nabbed after Sydney house set on fire

A man will face court after he allegedly deliberately set an inner Sydney home on fire.
Police say the 24-year-old knew the occupants of the Beaconsfield house, which suffered smoke and water damage after the main bedroom was set alight on Saturday night.
The man was charged with reckless damage and telecommunications offences and granted conditional bail to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on February 8.
