Concerns are growing for an elderly, epileptic man who went missing from an aged care home in Sydney's inner west three days ago.

Pierantonio Deidda, who speaks Italian and limited English, was last seen at the Burwood Heights home on Saturday afternoon.

Police on Tuesday called for help to find the 72-year-old, saying his family is concerned because he suffers from a cognitive impairment in addition to his epilepsy.

Mr Deidda was wearing a grey check shirt, grey trousers and glasses.
