Man flees Sydney police after 'siege'

A man is on the run from police yet again after escaping from the southwest Sydney townhouse into which he had been chased by officers.

The man had been holed up in the Liverpool house for several hours after fleeing police when he failed to stop his car as requested after midday on Tuesday.

Heavy armed police were outside the house but the man got away.
