Man killed in NSW head-on crash

A 37-year-old man has been killed in a head-on crash between a semi-trailer and a four-wheel-drive in regional NSW.

The driver of the four-wheel-drive died at the scene of the accident south of Tamworth on Thursday morning.

His two 17-year-old male passengers were treated at the scene for shock before being taken to hospital.

The driver of the semi-trailer, a 68-year-old man, was uninjured.
