Man glassed in neck in NSW pub

A man has been glassed in the neck during an argument at a pub at Lake Macquarie in NSW's Hunter region.
Police say officers were called to the pub at Warners Bay at about 10pm on Friday to find a 24-year-old man with serious lacerations to his neck after he was allegedly struck with a glass by a 19-year-old man.
The older man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.

He remains in hospital and is now believed to be stable.
The younger man was taken to Belmont Hospital under police guard for treatment to minor finger lacerations.
Police say charges are expected to be laid.
