Sydney man given bail in attempted bestiality case

A man accused of exposing himself to two women and attempting to commit bestiality on a dog in Sydney's west has been granted conditional bail.

Jaffar Mahmood, 39, has been charged with one count of an indecent act with a person 16 years or over and one of attempted bestiality.

The women were walking their dogs on the Canal Walkway in Greystanes on August 9 when Mahmood exposed himself to them and attempted to commit bestiality, police will allege.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges at Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday with his case due to return to court on October 13.
