Man found stabbed to death in Sydney home

Detectives are investigating after a middle-aged man was found dead with a stab wound to his chest in western Sydney.

The 53-year-old was discovered in a South Wentworthville home on Sunday evening.

"A crime scene was established and a knife was taken for forensic examination," a police spokesperson said in a statement on Monday.

Strikeforce Rofe has been established to investigate the man's death.
