Man dies at base of Sydney cliff

A man has died after plummeting from a Sydney cliff with his body discovered by a passer-by.
Police say emergency services were called to a location near Clovelly Bowls Club just after 2pm on Thursday.
It's understood attempts were made to resuscitate the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are yet to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police say at this stage they don't think anyone saw the man fall.
