Man fights for life after being hit by car

A man has spent the night in hospital fighting for life after he was hit by a car in Sydney's southwest.
The 57-year-old was found on Peel Street, Canley Heights just before 8am on Sunday with head and arm injuries after he was hit by a 65-year-old female driver.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he remained critical on Sunday night.

The female driver was also taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
She and her passenger, a 16-year-old boy, were uninjured.
