Man extradited over NSW child abuse claims
AAP
A man has been extradited from Queensland to NSW over allegations of historical child abuse involving a young boy on the NSW Central Coast.
The 29-year-old was arrested in Rockhampton and appeared in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Wednesday after NSW detectives investigated claims the victim, then aged seven, was sexually assaulted by a man known to him in 2009.
He was refused bail in Sydney's Central Local Court on Thursday after being charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault.
