Man dies in NSW crash

A 23-year-old man has died after crashing his car into an embankment on the NSW mid-north coast.

The accident happened shortly after midnight on Sunday at Bundook, northeast of Gloucester.

Police said it appeared the car came off the unsealed roadway and crashed head-on into the embankment.

The driver died at the scene.
