A man's body has been found inside a home in northern NSW, ending a two-day stand-off with police which shutdown a local high school.
The 33-year-old man was found dead after a firearm was discharged inside the Lismore home shortly after 7.30am on Friday morning.
Nine homes had been evacuated and Lismore High School closed after police were called to the home to check on the welfare of a man on Wednesday afternoon, sparking the two-day siege.
