Man dies after crashing car into tree in northern NSW

A Queensland man has died after his car rolled and crashed into a tree 100km north of Inverell, in NSW’s New England region.

Police were called to the crash scene on the Bruxner Highway, near Yetman, about 10.40pm last night.

The 22-year-old driver had reportedly been driving his vehicle west when it rolled, crashing into a nearby tree.

He died at the scene, police said.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
