Man critical after being struck by car

A 68-year-old man is in a critical condition after he was struck by a car in Brighton Le Sands.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Moate Avenue and Bruce Street about 6.40pm on Saturday and found the driver rendering aid to the man.
He had fallen onto the roadway and sustained head injuries and was taken to St George Hospital.
