Man critical after 8th-floor balcony fall

A man in his 20s is fighting for life in hospital after falling from an eighth-floor balcony in inner Sydney.

Emergency services were called to a Waterloo complex in the early hours of Thursday to find a man on the ground with critical head injuries.

A NSW Police spokeswoman told AAP the man fell from the eighth floor.

He's in St Vincent's Hospital in a critical condition.

Police say the incident doesn't seem suspicious, but anyone with information is urged to come forward.
