Man charged with NSW murder

A man has been charged with murder following an assault in the state's central west.

The 43-year-old man was arrested on Sunday and charged with the murder of a 63-year-old man at a house on Macquarie Street in Dubbo.

Police say the assault happened on Friday and the man died on Sunday morning.

The 43-year-old man appeared at Dubbo Bail Court on Sunday, where he was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Monday.
