Man charged with murdering missing woman

A man has been charged with the murder of Tamworth woman Johann Morgan who vanished from her home more than four months ago.

Grave concerns were held for 40-year-old Ms Morgan who was last seen at her West Tamworth home on August 8, and whose burnt out car was discovered two weeks later.

Police arrested a 45-year-old man in Dubbo on Monday.

He was charged with murder, refused bail and will face Dubbo Local Court on Tuesday.
