Man charged with murder over fatal Sydney stabbing

A man has been charged with murder after a stabbing in Sydney's north-west.

At about 1.55pm yesterday, emergency services were called to a unit on Waitaki Street in Lethbridge Park.

Paramedics found and treated a 34-year-old man who had a stab wound, but he died at the scene.

A 25-year-old man was also treated for stab wounds and taken to hospital in a stable condition.

On his release from hospital this morning, he was arrested and charged with murder.

He was refused bail and will appear in court today.
