Man charged with murder after Sydney brawl

A man has been charged with murder over a fatal stabbing in western Sydney last month.

A 27-year-old man died and three others were treated for stab wounds after a brawl between two groups of men in Bonnyrigg on February 12.

Two of the injured men, a 33-year-old and a 27-year-old, were arrested when they were released from hospital on Valentine's Day.

The older man was initially charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and going armed with intent to commit an indictable offence.

On Wednesday, he was also charged with murder and three counts of maliciously wounding with intent.

He was granted conditional bail to face Campbelltown Local Court later in the month.

The 27-year-old was charged with affray. He's been bail refused and is also due to appear at Campbelltown Local Court later in the month.
