Man charged with elderly man's murder

A 39-year-old man has been charged with murder after a man in his 80s died in an alleged domestic violence incident in Sydney's west.

Officers were called to an address in Liverpool at 10.20am on Friday to find the wounded man but he died at the scene, police said.

The man was reportedly stabbed by his son.

The accused man was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
