Man charged over Sydney bar stabbing

A man has been charged after he allegedly stabbed four men with a knife in western Sydney.

The 44-year-old allegedly stabbed the men, including three security guards, after becoming involved in an altercation at a bar in Smithfield on September 8.

He was charged with two counts of wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, reckless wounding, assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The man is due to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on September 27.
