Man charged after allegedly punching 11 women in Sydney CBD

A 26-year-old man accused of hitting 11 women in a random punching spree in Sydney's CBD has been charged.
He will appear in Central Local Court on Tuesday.
The assaults occurred over five hours last Thursday near Wynyard Park, police say.

In each instance, the man allegedly approached a woman or a group of women at random and punched them.
All women suffered bruising but did not require further medical attention.
The man was arrested on Friday and charged with nine counts of common assault and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
