Man charged over filmed assault in Sydney

A man has turned himself into police after a video of an alleged assault in Sydney's south was uploaded to social media by a witness.
Police say two 18-year-old males were assaulted by two other men in Cronulla in the early hours of Sunday, which was filmed by a witness.
The video was uploaded to social media, which led to a 27-year-old man turning himself into police on Wednesday.

He has been charged with a string of offences, including two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company, and he was refused bail ahead of an expected court appearance at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday.
