Man charged over copper pipe theft

A man has been charged for allegedly stealing copper pipe from the Old Junee Hospital in the NSW Riverina.
Officers discovered a quantity of copper pipe and several cannabis plants at a Commins Street property during a search on Thursday afternoon, police say.
A 51-year-old man was arrested and later charged with stealing and cultivating a prohibited plant.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Junee Local Court on January 8.
