Man charged for laser lighting helicopter

A 21-year-old man has been charged for allegedly shining a laser at a police helicopter flying over western Sydney, affecting the pilot's eyes.
The pilot however managed a safe landing, and police traced the green light to a property in Busby, following the December 27 incident.
The man has been charged with threatening the safety of an aircraft and faces up to two years in prison if convicted.

He faces Liverpool Local Court next month.
The pilot had his eyes tested but has had no lasting damage.
