Man charged for Bankstown child assault

A man has been charged following the alleged assault of an 11-year-old girl at a shopping centre in Sydney's south-west.

Following an appeal, a 44-year-old man was arrested at a home in Mt Druitt on Friday.

He was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station and charged with common assault. He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
