Man charged after weapons found in Sydney

A man has been charged after unregistered firearms and a crossbow were found at a house in southwest Sydney following a domestic dispute.

Police were called to an Ashcroft home on Tuesday afternoon for an alleged incident between a 58-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, and a subsequent search of the home uncovered four unregistered firearms and a crossbow.

The older man has been charged with numerous firearms offences and is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court next week.
