A 34-year-old man has been charged with a raft of offences after leaving the scene of an accident in Sydney's west.

The man struck a sign while attempting to park his vehicle in Rosehill at about 8.15am on Monday, before attempting to leave when he hit a stationary vehicle.

He was stopped on James Ruse Drive in Rosehill - a location in breach of bail conditions - where he returned a breath test of 0.461, more than nine times the legal limit.

The man was arrested when a second breath test returned a reading of 0.347 and he was charged with high-range drink driving, negligent driving and other offences.

He appeared in court on Tuesday and was refused bail ahead of his next appearance on June 6.
