Man attacked with pole in southwest Sydney

A man has been attacked with a metal pole during a home invasion in Sydney's southwest.

Police say a 34-year-old man threatened a 33-year-old man in Claymore on Saturday night then forced entry into his home in company with a woman and two other men.

One of those men then allegedly assaulted a 41-year--old occupant of the home with a metal pole.

The injured man was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment and police set up a crime scene at the home.
