Man attacked in northern Sydney home by gang of nine men with baseball bats and an axe

A 52-year-old man has been assaulted in his Sydney home by nine men wielding baseball bats and an axe.
NSW Police say the men, described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, forced their way into the 52-year-old's Dundas home around 7.30pm on Sunday.
They assaulted the man and ransacked his house before leaving in a Toyota Corolla, a Nissan Pulsar and a Toyota Hilux.

The victim suffered bruising, fractured ribs and haematomas, and remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
