Man arrives at hospital with bullet wounds

A man has turned up at an emergency department of a western Sydney hospital with a number of gunshot wounds to his back and legs.

The 24-year-old victim and his friend arrived at Auburn Hospital around 1am on Friday.

Police believe the shooting may have happened in the Guildford area, a spokesman said on Friday.

The victim has been transferred to Westmead Hospital for further treatment for non life-threatening injuries while police continue their investigations.
