Man arrested over Sydney bus robbery

A man has been arrested after allegedly trying to rob a Sydney bus driver at knifepoint in a brazen daylight attack.
The bus was travelling along Elizabeth Street in Surry Hills about 9am on Friday when a man armed with a knife climbed aboard.
It's alleged he tried to rob the driver but fled once the bus stopped near the intersection of Albion Street.

A 30-year-old man was arrested nearby a short time later and is being questioned by police.
