Man and woman charged over NSW stabbing

Two people have been charged after a woman was stabbed during an alleged domestic violence incident in west Sydney.

Police say it appears a couple were fighting at a home in Girraween on Friday evening when the 21-year-old woman was stabbed.

She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene, and has been charged with reckless wounding in company, and common assault.

Police also arrested a 27-year-old woman who arrived at the police station a short time later, and charged her with reckless wounding in company.

Both were granted conditional bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Friday.
