Man and boy spotted stuffing duck into bag in Sydney park
A man and his child accomplice have been spotted trying to stuff a duck into a bag in a south Sydney park.
Video taken yesterday at Camellia Gardens in Caringbah shows the man trying to insert the creature into a plastic shopping bag being held by his young companion.
It's not clear whether the pair were trying to abduct the waterbird or if there was some other motive for their strange actions.
The Daily Mail claims the incident has been reported to the RSPCA as an act of animal cruelty.
But a person who works at a nearby tea shop told the Mail they weren't convinced that the duck had been removed from the site.
Some online have reportedly speculated that the pair may have been trying to help the duck, which a handful of commentators postulated may have been suffering from an injury.
Others treated the incident with more levity, with one Facebook user noting "this is not how you play Pokemon go people."
