Man allegedly bashed with baseball bat at Sydney home

A man has been found unconscious, after allegedly being bashed by a group of up to five at his western Sydney home.
The 37-year-old was found unconscious in the driveway of his Smithfield home last night, bleeding from a wound to the back of his head.
Police are searching for five men, who they alleged hit the victim with a blunt object, described by witnesses as a baseball bat.

The group then fled in a grey Toyota Yaris.
Police believe one of the alleged attackers is a member of the victim’s family.
The man has been taken to Liverpool Hospital and treated for a laceration to the back of the head.
